My topic is Equality. In fact, we all know that equality includes many aspects, such as gender, sexual orientation and human rights. But in the process of my research, I found that many girls often encounter violence risk because of gender inequality, so I chose girls as my main research direction.

this picture is from an article by UNICEF. A girl named Salina was beaten by her father for the first time when she was eight years old. However, her mother had been beaten by her father all the time.
In fact, for many children, violence often comes from familiar people. Among them, violence against girls is more common.
- Worldwide, around 15 million adolescent girls aged 15 to 19 have experienced forced sexual intercourse or other forced sexual acts in their lifetime.
- Only 1 percent of adolescent girls who had experienced sexual violence said they reached out for professional help.
- In the 28 countries with data, 90 percent of adolescent girls who had experienced forced sex, on average, said the perpetrator of the first incident was known to them.
- In Sierra Leone, an estimated 1,000 children experience sexual violence each year.
- Between January and September of 2016, the FSU recorded 764 sexual offences against children.

What i got from it？
1. Many girls can’t judge whether they have been sexually assaulted, and most of them choose to remain silent after they have suffered such an assault.Such violence exacerbates gender inequality and makes girls more vulnerable.
2. In many places, there is generally no assistance center for sexual assault and the popularization of related knowledge is not in place, so when they encounter this kind of thing, they are not dealt with in time, and to a certain extent they cannot prevent this kind of behavior.
The problem I want to solve
- Introduce related knowledge about whether they have encountered sexual assault, such as the level of behavior or whether physical contact caused sexual assault, and tell them how to prevent it.
2. Provide timely assistance to girls who have been sexually assaulted, whether they need to talk or seek help from relevant agencies.

After fully understanding the user’s psychology, I made two persona. According to previous research, one target group I described is a girl aged 13-17, and the other is a persona who has experienced sexual assault as a girl. At the same time, it shows the psychology of wanting to guard against when there is no encounter, and the psychology of wanting to get more relevant knowledge after the encounter.

Visual Design
The name of this software is ESCORT, originally intended for escort trips. The reason why it is used as the software name is because it wants to convey a sense of security to users. Secondly, one of the main functions of this project includes helping users through positioning. Come for help, so the word ESCORT is used as the title to echo this function. The interface of the entire app mainly uses cool blue and purple, and blue purple is selected as the main color because the cool blue and purple can calm the user’s mood in visual perception, and the color is also more eye-catching, and the logo also uses this color , is mainly designed by combining the three icons of love, positioning and road, and its main purpose is to seek positioning help to highlight the main function.
Video interface and personal information interface
The video interface of the homepage has added the function of sharing comments. After watching the video, users can comment at any time and share them on other platforms; personal information interface users can edit personal information and manage uploaded comments through this function
Main Function
The main function of the software——questionnaire surveys, mainly use the form of questionnaires to enable users to answer some simple questions to get some accurate data so that they can judge whether they have encountered sexual assault, and when the user’s survey results reach 90% , The interface will automatically pop up the information and geographic location of the relevant assistance center. The user can directly contact and query the specific information of the assistance center through the button and make an appointment. The form of the entire questionnaire is confidential, and the setting of the question is also in line with the user’s age stage.
