In this blog, I will introduce a book by Ares Pedroil called ‘Handbagage’ , a graphic designer from Switzerland. The biggest highlight of this book is that it combines the use of emerging materials. The red handbag is used as the cover and back cover of the book and it echoes the color of the inner page. The author uses this new way of presentation to express the difference from traditional book covers. The use of handbags not only adds a sense of fashion but also makes the books more portable.I think a unique book binding method not only gives new exploration of books, but also guides readers to browse the page better.

This book was designed by Punkt Widzenia . The content of the book explores the human body and the future shape and changing trends. In the content, each picture shows a different shape of the body and gives a rich imagination. The cover is embossed to make the ‘body’ more abstract and artistic, and the binding method of the whole book is more natural.
